Kendrick Lamar, Kanye West (billed under his legal name Ye) and Future are the headliners for Rolling Loud Miami 2022.
The trio of hip-hop royalty will be joined by Playboi Carti, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Baby, Kodak Black, Gunna, Lil Yachty, 2 Chainz, Gucci Mane, A$AP Ferg, Action Bronson, Saweetie, and many more.
The 2022 edition of the annual festival will return to Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida on July 22-24. The event has quickly become of the biggest hip-hop festivals in the world with events expanding to California, New York and Portugal. See the full line-up below:
Kendrick Lamar is riding the wave from his barnstorming halftime performance at Super Bowl LVI and recently said his next album will be his last with long-time label Top Dawg, while Future returns to Rolling Loud Miami as a headliner for a second time.
As for Ye, well, he is having some year. Already confirmed as a Coachella 2022 headliner, he is still fresh from his Netflix docuseries, his eleventh studio album Donda 2 and its listening party, and his tabloid battle with ex-wife Kim Kardashian and her new partner Pete Davidson.
Rolling Loud will look to put last year’s controversial edition of the festival behind it after it made negative headlines.
A stage structure fell down one day before the festival was due to begin, fortunately without injury, then during the festival, a 23-year-old attendee went missing, only to be found a few days later.
Then there was the infamous DaBaby incident, where the 30-year-old rapper made homophobic comments whilst talking to the crowd and brought Tory Lanez onto the stage who at the time was violating a protective order put in place to safeguard Megan Thee Stallion, who was also performing at Rolling Loud.
DaBaby is set to return to the festival this year, so the reaction to his set will be an interesting one.
Tickets for the festival go on sale at 12pm ET on Monday, March 7. You can purchase tickets here.
