The Singapore Yacht Show is back with a bang for 2022 after Covid derailed Asia’s premier boat and yacht show the last couple of years.
The Singapore Yacht show is more than just a display of superyachts — although, it is that as well. The festival delivers a four-day celebration of the nautical lifestyle with live demonstrations, gala dinners and glamorous parties.
The event is held at ONE 15 Marina Sentosa Cove which offers a luxury oceanfront hotel, spa as well as a collection of restaurants but, most importantly, 270 berths to accommodate the largest luxury superyachts in the world.
In the past, the event has had more than 16,000 attendees and has showcased nearly 90 yachts. Behemoths such as the 58-meter long Seawolf and the 40-meter Be Mine were on display.
This year’s festival, planned for October, is sure to attract some of the top yacht brokers from Asia and around the world.
Beyond enjoying the lifestyle of luxury yachting, attendees can become fully immersed in luxury cars, watches and fashion which will be on display at the event.
Representatives for the best names in yachting will be there to help prospective clients charter or buy these sleek boats.
It is, by far, the region’s largest collection of yachting and lifestyle exhibitions.
Singapore itself offers incredible dining, shopping and sightseeing and is known around the world for being a top destination for luxury travellers.
If the ONE 15 Marina Sentosa Cove is booked up, why not stay on a boat overlooking the skyline of the city?
Marina Bay Sands offers just that with a world-class view and a smattering of Michelin starred and other high-end restaurants that allow guests to wine and dine in style.
Nouri and Lerouy are both excellent and very different options for dining near Marina Bay Sands.
Enjoy Singapore’s multiple world-class golf courses or shop till you drop in the famous Orchard Road shopping district.
ONE 15 Marina Sentosa Cove is just a ten-minute drive from downtown Singapore so attendees should have no problem arriving for events from their hotels if the onsite accommodation is booked up.
One thing is for sure, luxury yachting culture is in Asia to stay, the Singapore Yacht Show brings together all Asia’s luxury yachting community has to offer.
After being cancelled two years in a row, this annual event should prove to be one of the biggest of 2022 for the yachting community.
