The Grammy-nominated, songwriter and artist Tove Lo, has recently announced a headline for UK and European tours for 2022.
The Swedish, multi-platinum selling artist and songwriter Tove Lo is finally back after she was forced to cancel the rest of her European tour because of the coronavirus pandemic in March 2020.
Recently, she released her new single No One Dies From Love – the first preview of her forthcoming album, which will be the follow-up of her 2019s album Sunshine Kitty.
Co-written with Ludvig Söderberg – her long-term collaborator, Lo said of the meaning behind ‘No One Dies From Love’: “When you’re with someone for a long time and it ends all of a sudden, it’s like a part of you has died. This person is now a stranger to you. All of the memories are tainted.
“For the first part of the break-up, you believe you’re not supposed to feel good about anything you had together. What I believe I do best is ‘heartbreak you can dance to’. This song is that.”
Along with her new single, Lo also announced the dates for her UK and European tours which will take place later this year. She will perform across the continent this autumn to support new music and her album, Sunshine Kitty.
Announcing the tour on social media, Lo said “I’m so happy I feel CRAZY”.
“We had to cut our tour there short in March of 2020, which meant missing out on seeing most of your beautiful faces,” she added. “Now the wait is officially (almost) over!”.
Lo has also announced the launch of Pretty Swede Records, her own record label with Mtheory.
“I have a lot of freedom, and it’s been fun to work with Mtheory,” she said to NME. “This will be the first release under my label. I’m a pop girl, but I like to make things weird and be in full control of the whole vision. This is the perfect way to put out exactly what I want.”
Tove Lo tour tickets are on sale now. For the UK tour dates you can get tickets from ticketmaster.co.uk or seetickets.com, and for the European dates check ticketmaster.com.
