An engineering dropout, Santanu Hazarika is a doodle artist and an illustrator based in Delhi. Today he is a world-renowned NFT artist whose stamp in the metaverse really paid off.
Hailing from Guwahati, Assam Hazarika was born in 1983. He is a famous doodle artist and illustrator. After attending Maria’s Public School, Guwahati later joined SRM Institute of Science and Technology to pursue engineering but later dropped out of the course to pursue his dreams. You see he wanted to follow his passion for doodling and art. His work is internationally recognized and has worked for many well-known brands and famous figures in Hollywood.

The latest project–Breaking the Frames (BTF) is his most experimental, fresh and ambitious one to date and attempts to merge visual art with music. The drop was not only aimed at making his art more accessible to others but also to break barriers when it comes to making new age partnerships. When his NFT collection was released it was labelled as the fastest-selling platform.
In a short span of a few years, Santanu Hazarika formed a substantial roster of clients such as Red Bull International, Adidas, Reebok, Harper’s, Major Lazer and hip-hop artists Raftaar among many others.
“Being forced to do something that I wasn’t comfortable doing pushed me into depression and my only constant source of upliftment was music. I’m grateful that I could channel this oppression and discomfort into visual illustration. That’s where I draw most of my dark themes. I had to face a lot of difficulties in pursuing something that I was passionate about but I’ve always dealt with the situation through humour. ” – Santanu Hazarika
