THE Foo Fighters, Stevie Nicks, The Who and Lionel Richie are among the headliners for the 2022 New Orleans Jazz Fest, which returns this summer after two years of Covid-cancellations.
The festival will return to the Big Easy from April 29thto May 8th and features a line-up packed with talent. The Black Crowes, Luke Combs, Jimmy Buffett, Willie Nelson, and Erykah Badu are also among the top-billed artists.
Further down the bill are names like Norah Jones, Ludacris, Elvis Costello & The Imposters, Death Cab for Cutie, Kool & the Gang, Nelly, Randy Newman, and dozens of New Orleans legends like the Preservation Hall Jazz Band and the Dirty Dozen Brass Band.
New Orleans Jazz Fest will also feature special acts from Ziggy Marley who will perform the music of his father, and Cee Lo Green leading a James Brown tribute act. Tickets can be found here.
Elsewhere, the Governors Ball Festival returns to Citi Field in New York City this year from June 10th to June 12th.
Kid Cudi is set to headline Friday and is joined by Migos, Jack Harlow, Louis The Child, Black Pumas, Skepta, Paris Texas, JPEGMafia and more.
Saturday then has Halsey as its headliner, with the likes of Flume, Roddy Rich, Joji, YG, Denzel Curry, Still Woozy, former NBA star Shaquille O’Neal (under the stage name Diesel) and more.
Then finally, Sunday night headliner J. Cole will be joined by Playboi Carti, Glass Animals, Kaytranada, Japanese Breakfast, J.I.D and more.
