The British Fashion Council Today announces the dates for London Fashion Week 2022 presented by clearpay.
LFW, which continues to be sponsored by Clearpay, will take place on February 18-22 and September 16-20 (both Friday to Tuesday), with what would normally have been the revived men’s event set to take place on June 11-13 (Saturday to Monday). This year, however, all three LFWs will include both women’s and men’s fashion.
The BFC said that the January edition has been cancelled “due to uncertainties arising from Covid-19,” and with England’s recent announcement of additional ‘Plan B’ Covid limitations, that earlier decision appears to make sense.
Following the successful structure established in September 2021, the hybrid digital-physical programme will continue to include catwalk shows, presentations, appointments, and events in London, as well as digital material available at londonfashionweek.co.uk.
The platform will continue to function as the Official Digital Hub, and it will be open to everyone, including industry experts and global fashion consumers, enabling collaboration and bringing fashion, culture, and technology together.
This digital platform is a year-round one and is constantly updated for retailers, media and consumers to view and buy collections.
