Very pink and very well designed, Il Capri is a 5 star accommodation located in the heart of Capri’s Via Roma. It was recently refurbished by Graziella Buontempo and Arnaud Lacombe, who tastefully revived the Venetian-style palazzo, staying true to its original pink and white facade. Inside, the hues extend onto reds, taken from the “striking volcanic reds of Mount Vesuvius”.
The lounges of Il Capri Hotel exude a warm and inviting atmosphere, thanks to the carefully selected antique furniture pieces that have been curated to create a sense of homeliness. To add a personal touch, Grazziella Buontempo, whose family has deep-rooted connections with the island, has sourced artworks and photographs from her personal collection, further enhancing the hotel’s unique ambiance.

Curves, tiles and stripes adorn the hotel’s interiors, its rooms boasting of views out onto the ocean, or flower dotted terraces to live La Dolce Vida. The hotel’s event spaces are equally stunning, with the Indoor Vesuvio restaurant adopting quirky shell-shaped lighting fixtures and the rooftop facing directly into Capri’s Main Street and mountain backdrop.
