Let us set the scene. It’s early morning, the sun is barely up but you’re already caffeinated and ready to hit the slopes. You’re wearing about 10 layers, because one thing’s for sure; it’s cold as hell, but for once you don’t care. Cold often means more powdery snow, which means better skiing, snowboarding or sledging. It also makes the post-slope hot chocolate ten times more enjoyable.
It seems the skiing experience is some sort of universal pleasure. Celebrities have been spotted for years enjoying the slopes, and certain ski resorts have become luxurious favourites. With the 2022 season only barely hitting it off, here are where some celebrities have been spending their skiing holidays – you know, in case you need inspiration for your next ski trip.
Bella & Gigi Hadid
Funny, Bella Hadid strikes as a snowboarder, but the global supermodel has been spotted with her skiing bâtons in hand. Using the opportunity to promote her latest business venture, Kin Euphorics, the pair where photographed skiing in what we are pretty sure is Aspen, Colorado.
Chiara Ferragni
The Ferragni family, Italian royalty if fashion is concerned, are known for loving the snow. This comes as no surprise, since the influencer and rapper live in Milan, a few hours drive from some of the world’s greatest skiing and snowboarding slopes. For Chiara and the family, this year’s slope of choice is Alpe di Suisi, a dolomite plateau in Italy’s South Tyrol province.
Olivia Palermo
Also representing fashion influencers, but from the Spanish perspective, is Olivia Palermo. Dressed in chequered snow-gear, her mountain of choice was located in Switzerland, a celebrity favourite. More specifically St. Mortiz, home to the occasional Winter Olympics.
Kyle Richards
The Housewife of all housewives has often been spotted in the snow alongside her family, all of whom have celebrated these holidays in matching Aspen jumpers. As for Kyle, we saw her dressed in a white furry coat and sporting a matching snow-white Dior hat in Aspen, Colorado.
Rebel Wilson
