Full Coachella 2022 Line-Up Released

January 13, 2022

COACHELLA 2022 organisers have finally ended the anticipation over who would replace Travis Scott as a headliner for this year’s iteration of the festival, and they didn’t disappoint.

Kanye West, officially billed under his legal name Ye, is the headliner on Sunday evening, and will be joined by Billie Eilish on Saturday and Harry Styles on Friday. Swedish House Mafia are also a surprise inclusion and will be “returning to the desert” on an undisclosed day.

Other artists to feature high on the bill include Lil Baby, Pheobe Bridgers, Megan Thee Stallion, Disclosure, Doja Cat, Baby Keem, Jamie xx and Run the Jewels.

Further down are names like Fatboy Slim, Big Sean, Caribou, Isiah Rashad, Peggy Gou, FINNEAS, Masego, Ari Lennox, IDLES, and many more. The full line-up can be seen below:

Rumours had been circulated for a while that Kanye was due to replace Travis Scott after the Houston rapper is on the verge of being completely cancelled following the backlash from the tragic Astroworld disaster in November last year.

It’s another big occasion in the 2022 diary of Kanye West after it was announced this week that a three-part Netflix documentary about his life will be released next month.

Meanwhile, Billie Eilish basks in the glory of being one of the hottest artists on the planet after her confirmation on the line-up crowns the 20-year-old the youngest-ever headliner at the festival. It’s another impressive landmark in her already astonishing career, which looks likely to be recognised once more at the now-rescheduled 2022 Grammys.

Harry Styles’ headline set on Friday will mark the British singer’s first appearance at Coachella.

Two absentees that might have been expected on the line-up were Rage Against The Machine, who were booked to headline at the 2020 festival, and Frank Ocean, who is rumoured to headline in 2023.

This year’s iteration of the famous festival in the Californian desert will be the first since 2019, providing nothing gets in the way, and will be spread over two weekends (April 15th-17th and April 22nd-24th).

Weekend 1 is already sold out, but pre-sale for Weekend 2 starts on January 14th at 10am Pacific time (tomorrow).
