This summer, Club Chinois, the much-anticipated new Ibiza venue run by acclaimed London restaurant Park Chinois, has announced three standout residencies.
Boasting a 1,000-person capacity, Club Chinois is a trendy new haunt in the heart of Ibiza Marina designed by award-winning Parisian design studio Laleh Assefi. Reminiscent of Shanghai jazz clubs of the 1930s, the venue combines old-world hospitality with world-class service and a tastefully curated series of residencies for its first season.
The club revealed three impressive residencies from Luciano, THEMBA and Guy Gerber. Throughout the season, Luciano will appear on Saturdays, THEMBA will present Colours on Wednesdays, and Sundays will be dedicated to Guy Gerber’s Mirror Games.
Swiss-Chilean DJ Luciano’s weekly events will feature the best underground talent in an intimate setting offering high-quality sound. From July 2 to August 27, his sets will take centre stage and promise masterful grooves and Latin flair.
On the other hand, South African THEMBA will host a vibrant party titled Colours every Wednesday, running from June 15 till September 28, and feature a handpicked list of artists, including Black Coffee, Dubfire and many more.
Centred around the power of the mirror, Sundays from June 19 to October 9 will be dedicated to Guy Gerber’s Mirror Games. Inspired by Anish Kupor and James Turrell, Mirror Game is a personal project for Gerber, with production reliant on hand-made physical art rather than just the technological. Mirror Members of the game or token holders will be able to access curated digital art pieces, an ownership stake in a Gerber track, and even a stake in the party itself.
Club Chinois will open its doors on June 17, on the same site in the Ibiza Town Marina that once held HEART.
