The Scottish DJ regularly tops musical rich lists and is worth a reported $300m.
Calvin Harris is selling his sprawling mansion in Beverly Hills for a cool $25 million. The 2.7-acre estate is luxury personified and features 5 separate structures with a total of ten bedrooms and 12 bathrooms.
Harris originally bought the property in 2014 and has overseen major renovations that include custom herringbone-patterned hardwood floors, “floating” bookshelves, exposed brick walls, the quartz staircase and more.
The listing, which is held by high-end real estate specialists Josh and Matt Altman of the Altman Brothers Team, describes the property renovations as “premier craftsmanship and the finest materials”.
Such drastic home improvements were unlikely to have come cheap, but then again, Harris is the wealthiest DJ on the planet and earned $110 million during the years of 2013 and 2014 alone, plus another $129 million in 2015 and 2016, taking his total net worth up to around $300m in 2022.
The property is tucked away in the rugged mountains above Beverly Hills and can be accessed via a private driveway lined with tall trees and an abundance of greenery.
The five structures include the main residence, a two-story luxury guest house which Harris converted into recording studios, a five-car garage with elevator access to a movie theatre, a security office guest unit and a state-of-the-art home gym with a basketball court.
The main residence features “voluminous living spaces with soaring coffered ceilings” and “floor to ceiling windows that provide an influx of natural light”.
The gourmet chef’s kitchen has two separate oversized islands and a private wine cellar. There is so much space in this house that it’s practically designed for lavish parties and sophisticated soirees, making it an entertainer’s dream property.
Elsewhere, you can find a custom pergola with BBQ, large pool, spa, and lounge with fire pit, a full bar, exposed brick, skylights, multiple gardens, a swimming pool, and a solar dome.
Harris is asking for $25 million for the property which, if he gets close to that, would be a successful sale as he bought the property for around $15 million eight years ago. The perennial chart-topper has reportedly swapped his lavish LA lifestyle for a more humble one in Ibiza where he recently purchased a 138-acre ranch that is “the biggest organic farm on all Ibiza,” according to local reports.
