What’s better than sunny weather, good food and excellent wines? Not much, and California’s Wine Festival has them all.
Taking place in several Californian towns throughout the year, the California Wine Festival is an event any true wine connoisseur, or even those who just enjoy the occasional glass, won’t want to miss.
It will draw wine-lovers from around the globe who hope to bask in the California sun while tasting exquisite wines overlooking the pacific. Not to mention, anyone interested in the setting up of a California LLC, a US Business model which can be particularly interesting in the Californian state.
The first event will take place from April 22 to 23 in Dana Point, Orange County —however, other events will occur throughout the year — see the list at the end of the article.
Beginning Friday evening at the Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel Pacific Promenade Lawn & Ballroom, guests will be able to sample fine wines and delicacies overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
A sparkling wine reception is just a prelude to an evening of sampling ‘trophy wines’ which are hard-to-find fine wines.
The following day guests will go to Sea Terrace Park — a sun-soaked, palm-lined grassy venue near the ocean. Here Upstream, a Caribbean steel band, will entertain guests while they spend the day sampling some of California’s finest wines.
Not only are there hundreds of wines to sample, but the venue will also offer craft brews, artisanal cheeses, bread, olive oil, chocolates and more.
Some of the profits from the festival will benefit the Sandy Feet Initiative and the Surfrider Foundation South Orange County Chapter.
The Sandy Feet Initiative reaches out to and recognises siblings of children with special needs while the Surfrider Foundation is an environmental group dedicated to the protection of the world’s oceans.
Guests can rest assured that while they enjoy themselves sipping fine wines, they are supporting a good cause.
If you can not attend the first event of this roving festival, don’t worry. The festival will take place in various locations around the state throughout the Summer and into Autumn.
Tickets begin at just $40 up to $125, offering various levels of access.
