Elvis will hit theatres on June 24, 2022.
Dubbed the King of Rock & Roll, the legendary Elvis Presley is about to reappear in a few days, with the new Elvis movie set to be released in cinemas on June 24, 2022. Starring American actor Austin Butler, who mostly showed faces on the television series Switched at Birth and leading roles in The Carrie Diaries and The Shannara Chronicles.
According to Deadline, “the film will highlight the relationship between Elvis and his longtime manager. It will reportedly look back on the singer who came from dirt-poor origins” on his journey to becoming an “iconic star who changed the course of music.”

Drake Milligan, named ‘the new Elvis of Country,’ the Elvis impersonater and singer charmed the judges on America’s Got Talent and American Idol with a lively original song. The singer from Fort Worth, Texas, sings an original song called Sounds Like Something I’d Do. After starring as none other than young Elvis Presley in the highly-regarded TV series Sun Records in 2017, even though it lasted one season, his spark from this ignited a flame of opportunities. From breaking out onto Spotify and hitting high in the iTunes charts, the 24-year-old singer is still living out his Elvis dream of becoming a star.

American actor Kevin Spacey played his co-star.

The White Stripes singer starred as The King in the film Walk Hard in 2007, starring Magnolia actor John C. Reilly. This mid-century Rock & Roll movie is a parody with a cameo appearance as part of Dewey Phillips’s early career, with Phillips performing at the same concert as Elvis. Just about every Elvis fan knows the name of ‘Daddy-O’, aka Phillips, like that of the disc jockey who first played Elvis’ That’s All Right on his ‘Red, Hot and Blue’ radio programme.

According to Yahoo, “Meyers won the Golden Globe Award for best actor in a miniseries or television film for his performance in 2005.”
