50 Cent Says His Next Album Will Be His Last

January 30, 2022

50 Cent has revealed that his next album will be his final full-length release, although the 46-year-old rapper will not be leaving the music business entirely.

50 has been teasing a follow-up to his 2014 album Animal Ambition for some time now but the project is yet to materialise.

In a recent interview promoting the upcoming Power spin-off series called Force, which is based on Tommy’s character, 50 discussed one of his recent Instagram posts, which was trending online after people saw the caption: “Smile my next album might be my last.”

“I probably think I’ll deliver one more full-length album, then the other things I do will be connected to film and television,” he said on The Talk on CBS. “I’m having so much success in this area that I have opportunities to keep releasing music through the projects that I’m bringing.”

See a clip from 50’s interview below:

50 Cent has released five solo studio albums across his career: Get Rich Or Die Tryin (2003), The Massacre (2005), Curtis (2007), Before I Self Destruct (2009) and Animal Ambition 2014. He also put out two albums with G-Unit: Beg For Mercy (2003) and T.O.S. (Terminate On Sight) (2008).

50’s announcement comes in the same week the rapper revealed he will be touring the UK this summer with an enormous show at London’s 90,000-seat Wembley Arena. Tickets for the show on the 10th of June are currently on sale and can be found here.

The Candy Shop rapper is set for a big summer in the UK as he also headlines Parklife festival in Manchester alongside Tyler, The Creator, Megan Thee Stallion, Jamie XX, Bicep, Peggy Gou, Lewis Capaldi, Headie One, Loyle Carner, Chase & Status, Four Tet and many more.

Tickets for the festival are in high demand and are going fast, but the remaining ones can be found via this link.
