3 Incredible Ibiza Hotels Opening In 2021

February 9, 2021

Where Better To Stay In The Party Capital Of The World?

Sun? Check. Sea? Check. Splendour? Triple check.

After all the stress of 2020, we can all agree that we deserve a chance to relax, unwind, let loose and – perhaps most importantly – make up for lost time in some of the world’s finest nightclubs! If this sounds like your ideal trip, then surely there’s only one place you’ll be headed this summer: the isle of Ibiza.

When it comes to booking your trip, your first stop will likely be deciding where to stay – and this year, there will be three brand new hotels to choose from!

Here’s everything you need to know about the three lavish hotels opening up on the Isla Blanca in 2021.

OKU Ibiza

With an already successful hotel on the Greek island of Kos, OKU Hotels are expanding their brand with this beautiful new addition in Ibiza.

With a laid-back, bohemian atmosphere and earth-toned interior throughout the rooms, the OKU Ibiza is set to be one of the island’s finest spots for getting a little well-earned relaxation during your stay. In fact, the spa and wellness areas of the hotel are a core part of the OKU brand, with an array of luxurious treatments available to guests, all given expertly by OKU’s internationally trained spa therapists.

The hotel also features a dedicated gym, where personal trainers are on-hand throughout the day to guide you through your workout – alternatively, you could give the workouts a break during your trip in favour of spending your day relaxing by the OKU Ibiza’s incredible pool.

As for the food and drink available at the hotel, OKU pride themselves on delivering a top-class fine dining experience to their guests, with the vibrant Asian-inspired menu of The OKU Restaurant designed exclusively by the internationally-acclaimed Mark Vaessen, Executive Chef of London’s SUSHISAMBA.

If it’s a little tranquillity that you’re looking for during the day to break up the excitement of the evenings, then OKU Ibiza is no doubt the perfect spot for you – and it’s set to open its doors just in time for the summer.

Casa Pacha Formentera

The latest venture of Pacha, the group behind one of Ibiza’s most famous nightspots, the Casa Pacha Formentera will offer fourteen sumptuous, beautifully finished suites and a taste of – as Pacha themselves have put it – ‘barefoot luxury in the most natural and organic of settings’.

As a smaller hotel, the Casa Pacha Formentera is able to provide guests with a more intimate and thoughtful experience, featuring organic breakfast hampers delivered to your door each morning and aperitifs designed to be enjoyed on your room’s terrace as you take in the breathtaking ocean views at sunset.

Casa Pacha Formentera will also give guests the opportunity to enjoy carefully curated experiences during their stay, advertising ‘authentic rituals, social activations and enchanting gatherings’.

There’s also a clear focus on wellness at the hotel, too, with the Casa Pacha Formentera inviting you to ‘silence all your worldly distractions through yoga and massage’. After the year we’ve experienced, we’re sure that this will be a welcome invitation to many.

The Casa Pacha Formentera is due to open on June 1st 2021, but you can already reserve your room on their website – and these reservations are sure to be taken up quickly!

Six Senses Ibiza

The newest addition to the Six Senses family of luxury resorts and hotels, the Six Senses Ibiza is likely to fall perfectly in line with Six Senses’ aim to give all their guests the opportunity to reconnect with their mind, body and heart through a world of relaxation, wellness and giving back to the Earth.

Six Senses pride themselves on their ethos of purposeful travel, with their resorts giving visitors the chance to take part in a variety of memorable activities, such as their ‘reconnection experiences’, which include yoga in nature, wildlife encounters and forest bathing.

There is also, of course, a focus on wellness – and perhaps a more in-depth focus on wellness than you’d find in other resorts and hotels. The Six Senses personalised wellness program features a wellness screening, movement efficiency tests, sleep tracking and even a post-program follow-up, all of which is guaranteed to have you back to your best after even the most stressful of periods.

Finally, the jewel in the Six Senses crown is their focus on rituals, which instruct you to arrive not as a tourist but ‘as a pilgrim’. Throughout your stay, you can take part in their energising water rituals and fire rituals, finishing with a departure ritual once it comes to the time to leave.

If you’re looking for something a little different during your time on Ibiza, the Six Senses Ibiza is sure to be the perfect place for you to stay – and it opens this summer.
